Todd Hallsten, my father, bought his 350 Chevy from Bruce when I was a young buck. BOY does that 68 RS run like a raped ape. It’s a goal on mine to install one in my own classic when I find one and have the funds. The motor in my father’s Camaro has started like new every time for the past 10 years with no tinkering at all, and I mean at all. Enginefactory will be my first call when the day comes.
Thanks again Bruce.
Thanks guys for building an Awesome engine for my Mustang, sorry it took so long to send picture.
Finally got my 1969 olds all done thought I would send you some photos of the awesome 383 Chevy. you all built for me the thing about projects is they some times take a lot longer then your think, but after having that motor sit for two years it did just what you all say, it fired right up.! runs great.
I hope you and everyone there at FFR & the Engine Factory are keeping well.
Just a brief note to say a big thanks to you (and the teams behind the scenes) for your help over the past 14 months… following our visit (my son & I) back in September 2015, today I received notification that my Type 65 Coupe (#F5R1000708CPB) is fully road legal here in the UK.
We first started the build on 16th March 2016 – Right Hand Drive / Complete kit / Independent rear suspension / 6.7ltr Ford 418w from The Engine Factory.
Drives & sounds amazing!!! First show booked for July ;0)
Thanks again everyone!
Hi Matt & Bruce,
Well it is finally completed. If anyone out there is thinking of purchasing a engine look no further then the Engine Factory!! The engine was flawless as well as a heck of a looker. Working with Matt and Bruce was a pleasure, Matt walked me through the selection along with the process of putting the engine together. Bruce kept me up to date with photo’s of the engine from start to finish. This 383 Stroker with the 450 HP definitely puts the stock 190 HP to shame. Although this 1973 Corvette Stingray has a 3.08 rear-end (helps with gas mileage on weekend cruises) it will still lay down the rubber. The first time the wife drove it she took off from a stop and looked down at the speedometer and was doing 70 in nothing flat. Awesome!! Again it was a total pleasure working with both of you and yes I would do it again in a heartbeat, and will when we move on to another rod! Attached are some photos of the car.
Thanks again Matt & Bruce

The 434 small block you built for me is a work of art. Only taken the car to one car show and the people came out of the woodwork to see this car and engine. Had people come and tell me this is the best car and engine they have ever seen. My first ride was without the windshield with my neighbor in the winter time. I didn’t get into the throttle to much and scared the hell out of my neighbor. We looked like dumb and dumber when we got home. The motor has incredible power and can break the tires at will. Thanks Matt for answering all of my questions on the build. Please share the pictures with everybody.
Bruce thank you so much For Building an Awesome Chevy 383 Dual Quad stroker for my 82 El Camino. You do so good at documentation and also keeping your customer so well-informed. I’m glad we shopped at Engine Factory. Number one I always like following a leader and you definitely rank to be one of the leading Industries engine maker.
Thanks again Lester Wentz
Bruce and Matt,
You guys built me an engine 5 years ago. Last month, I finally finished the project. The engine you guys built runs great and despite sitting for about a year, fired up the first time we turned the key.
Thank you for making a solid, reliable product!
Thanks guys for Great service and an Awesome engine for my Camaro.
I have received many compliments about the Engine it runs and sounds awesome.
It is everything you said it would be.
Gil Gomez Jr.
Thanks for all you help on the new engine. We installed it yesterday, made all our connections and she fired right up as advertised, everything is working beautifully. Oil pressure and water temps are well within range. I have attached some pictures of the install.

Bruce / Christian / Robert:
It has been awhile since we last communicated.
My kit delivered 1/31/2010. I drove it for the first time 7/4/2010.
My car went to paint and interior over the winter and was completed 2/17/2011. Just in time for the 2011 Dallas Autorama where it made its debut.
I have entered 9 shows and taken 9 1st place plaques or trophies.
I wanted to send a note to say “Thank you” for building me an amazing engine. The 418W Stroker gets tons of comments and has provided me 7500+ miles of trouble free joy. A few adjustments and a couple oil changes is all I have had to do.
As you can tell, I drive it as often as possible.
Remember the black pulleys, valve covers, and air cleaner?
The car was photographed back in March 2011 and will be making an appearance in Kit Car Builder magazine at some point.
Here are some pics of the final product.
Thank you again for a great product.

Here’s a pic of the engine installation in my T bucket.
At this time I would like to thank The Engine Factory, especially Matt & Brad for the outstanding customer service I received with the carburetor issue I had the other day. Customer service like this is hard to find anywhere.
When my original engine started giving me problems and because I have limited mechanical abilities I
found that the crate motor approach suited my needs. I researched many other companies and no one was able to compare to yours.
I finally decided to give Matt a call and he patiently and professionally assisted me with the order. I found all the information that I needed posted on your web site .
The motor arrived at the shop on time as promised and was a sight to see. The 350/400 was mated to a 5sp Tremic and the installation was completed without any major problems.
The motor runs fantastic and has plenty of torque to move the 1980 GMC Truck

Matt Brad Bruce,
To be honest I do not have words for what you have built for me; You exceeded all my expectations!
Also even with the big cam the inlet manifold vacuum is amazing, Oil pressure is perfect! I get tears in my eyes looking at the photos
This is a dream come true!
From my heart – THANK YOU

Thank you very much for your time.
I really enjoyed being at the shop on Tuesday.
Excellent tips, warm reception, lots of useful information.
And most important of all, I felt welcome, like at home.
I got a new thermostat housing a s gift and, needless to say, I will recommend The Engine Factory to any person interested in building an engine.
I’ve been somewhat tardy in letting you know how the 450 HP 383 Stroker motor is working. I now have 2 summers and 10,000 plus miles on it and it’s as strong as the day we first started it. It’s everything that you said it would be and still as pretty as a picture. I just completed Hot Rod Magazines Drag Week, running 1100 miles in 4 days and making 22 consistent passes at 5 tracks. I’ve hooked it to a 700R4 with a 3800 FTI stall converter. The attached photo tells the story. The next time I need an engine, I won’t even bother shopping; I’ll just call you and order what I want. Your service, delivery, and after the fact help is over and above.
Thank-you for a great experience.
I do not have any questions., but would like to tell you how much I like your web sites, They are so informational and so easy to navigate. I will tell you truth when I was looking for my engine I kept coming back to your web site for the info I needed, when looking at other sites that didn’t offer much help. I soon realized that your company was the one I wanted to do business with. The videos made me more comfortable about handing my hard earn money over to people I didn’t know. I felt that all of you were very honest hard working people and would do what you said. I’m sorry to say that I’ve been taken by other business. So whoever designed your web site is one genius.
I just wanted to send a follow-up email to thank you for the unbelievable customer service I have received before, during and after the purchase of my 383 stroker. From my initial phone call to inquire about purchasing a motor to the follow up phone calls to finalize and custom tailor the motor to what I wanted, Matt answered every question completely. Matt outlined the whole process and assured me everything would be done as per our conversation. To my surprise everything DID go as Matt said it would, from the pictures of my motor being built, watching it run live on the stand, to the delivery of it. I know I have said this numerous times but my engine purchase had to be one of the easiest purchases I made during the restoration of my 67 Camaro. (Matt, Thanks again for all your help!!) I would also like to thank you for allowing me to trailer my Camaro down to your production facility in Lebanon, NJ for Jersey boyz (Tim, Brad and Rob) to adjust the timing and carburetor 2 years after it was built.
You have a good group of guys up here, all three jumped right in to help get my engine dialed in perfectly. It now starts, idles and runs amazing. Now I can’t wait to finish the restoration and put some miles on it! Please post my email in the customer’s letters section as another COMPLETELY SATISFIED customer. I still owe the Jersey Boyz lunch or at least a couple of beers.

383 Stroker 500hp build
Matt this is one awesome engine! I am totally happy with my engine. Engine factory builds the best engines in my opinion in the world! I love the stamp you strategically place on the intake housing which is, “MADE IN THE U.S.A.” Awesome! It responds well when you accelerate and with the dual flowmasters talking through the exhaust pipes makes me the envy of the town. Thanks Engine Factory for a beautiful well-crafted engine…
Bruce, Tim and Christian,
Here is my 347 Stroker running for the first time. Absolutely awesome!
Thank you, Tim, for doing such an excellent job with the build.
Thanks to the whole Engine Factory team for putting together easy to follow instructions and providing great service. I recommend Engine Factory to all FFR Roadster builders.

Just to let you know we got the 383 in the car lit the fuse this morning you don’t even have to touch the gas pedal fired right up ran like a top. The cam that you put in sounds good I believe you could set a glass of water on the breather an it would never fall off motor sets there dead still . After we get the front end on the car I’ll take some pictures and send them to you. Don’t surprised if this don’t drum up some business the rod shop that’s got the car were pretty impressed with the motor the way it ran an the throttle response. Right now I’m 100% satisfied.

Subject: 347 Stroker
I just wanted to write and say that even though I took delivery of my 347 stroker engine almost 6 months ago, I finally got my Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod assembled to the point that I got to start the engine for the first time
yesterday! It started right up and runs great!! We took the car on a little “go kart” ride also and the engine just purred.
Thank you so much for your help with my car. I called a couple of times to get some advice and your staff always was able to answer my questions and get me the information I needed to continue with the car build. Your
customer service is excellent.
